This Page is for anyone who loves slips, petticoats and underskirts.
A nice, silky petticoat worn over a pair of silky directoire knickers,
(or silky bloomers) is very exciting for women and men alike, but it is men who ‘show’ the most obvious, physical appreciation, in my experience! Well, that’s understandable, isn’t it?
For the time being I shall include nightdresses here, until I have enough suitable photos for their own Nightie Page.

I forget who sent me these nice, clear photos of their petticoats and underskirts, so perhaps the kind person who did so could let me know as soon as possible so that I can suitably acknowledge him or her.
However, the photos start this page off in a nice way, don’t they?

This is Marty, who also appears undressed to his lovely blue knickers on the knickers page.
Perhaps this picture will join it sometime, but as this ‘Men enjoying slips and petticoats’ Page is a bit low on photos, it will look nice here for a while.
Women love wide-strap petticoats (in the business, we call them ‘built-up shoulders’), as they are so much more comfy than ribbon straps. For this active woman, ribbon straps can become strained with use, and I just don’t have the time to repair underwear any more. For mature-aged women I think wide straps look sexier, too, and around the house and garden I have frequently chosen to wear nothing over my petticoat at all, or sometimes just a pinny when not attending to a corsetry and underwear client.
Marty’s sky blue underwear looks particularly delicious, don’t you think? His stocking-tops and suspenders look sexy showing through his long, elastic-leg knickers, don’t they?
Marty’s underwear is also very similar to my most popular, daily ‘uniform’ in the warmer times of the year, and as sky blue was the most pleasant, practical colour as well as being very fresh-looking to welcome any of my ladies at the door for her appointment.
However, I should add that over the years I also wore most of the many other pastel colours that we had to choose from. Each time, I tried to recall which colour underwear I wore during the lady’s previous visit, and amused myself by choosing a petticoat of another colour, or plain, silky white so that my now contrasting colour knickers clearly showed through.
Dark colours were not popular, nor odd colours such as oyster, particularly because my knickers could not be seen through a petticoat of a dark or dull colour! You see, as soon as my lady client saw my knickers she was in an underwear mood, and that was the mood where she was generally going to buy lots of knickers and things my range of lovely underwear.
And so my corsetry and traditional underwear business survived while most of those nice old underwear shops have long since gone, as you all well know. Amen!
